I have worked as an RN since 1990, in Pediatrics, as a floor nurse, ICU and ER nurse, and as a Pedi-flight nurse for a year out of LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. I gained experience by working as a traveling nurse in Tennessee, Ohio, Texas, and Maryland (D.C.). I love nursing, and hope to pass on the dedication and affection I feel toward the profession to my students.

Teaching Philosophy:
Teaching is the art of sharing knowledge, experience, insights and attitude with those who wish to learn new things, experience new things and add knowledge and skills to their abilities.

Statement of usual method of evaluation of students (number of tests, essay paper, book reviews, etc):
Through testing center on campus. Number of tests vary with the class and amount of material covered in that course. Papers and projects are usually assigned, to give students an outlet for their creative abilities.
