What is the difference between an LVN and a LPN?
No difference. The titles "licensed practical nurse" (LPN) and "licensed vocational nurse" (LVN) are two names for the same occupation.

What admission test do I have to take to make application, if I meet requirements otherwise?
The Nurse Entrance Test (NET). The NET test is administered at the TJC testing center.�See the Allied Health and Nursing Advisor or Instructor/Department Chair.

What are the hours of the VNE program?

  • Generally, the A.M. class is in session from 730 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Clinical times vary.
  • Generally, the P.M. class is in session from 230 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Clinical times vary.

How long does it take to complete the VNE program?
The VNE program runs one year from August to August.

How much does it cost to go through the VNE program?
