Students who have been previously awarded education benefits and are wanting to learn how to get the GI-Bill process started at Tyler Junior College.
Montgomery GI-BILL - Active, Reservist (MGIB-SR) and Survivors' and Dependants' Educational Assistance Program | 1. Make sure you've completed the TJC Application and Registration Process | a. The TJC and VA Application can be done simultaneously. b. Be sure to submit all official transcripts from previous colleges. c. Please let your Academic Advisor know you are a Veteran student because you must follow your degree plan strict and to the letter. | | 2. Bring in Paperwork to TJC V.A. Office to Start File | a. c. "Student's Schedule and Bill" - from cashier
d. Copy of Degree Plan
