Testing Center

The Tyler Junior College Testing Center will attempt to provide you with the information and opportunity to meet your academic assessment needs as painlessly and efficiently as is possible.

The Tyler Junior College Testing Center is located on the second floor in the Rogers Student Center. For additional information you may contact us at (903) 510-2617 or through the TJC switchboard at 1(800) 687-5680.

Identification: Students must present an official photo identification card such as a TJC student ID or driver's license prior to taking any test. A student will not be allowed to test without proper identification.

Scheduling: All tests, with the exception of standardized tests, (CLEP, QTHEA, etc.) are administered on a walk-in basis during the Testing Center's published hours. Seating is limited. A student is encouraged to allow sufficient time for completing an exam within the published hours of the center. Students will not be permitted to test within one hour of closing. All exams are collected at closing time, even if not complete.

Proctoring: Testing personnel visually monitor students while testing. Closed circuit cameras are also used to monitor activity in the testing center. Any irregularities in the administration process are reported to the professor and their dean.

Note: No children are allowed in the Testing Lab as a courtesy to all.
