Residence Halls
Louise H. & Joseph Z. Ornelas Residential Complex Bateman is home to 150 male students and is the largest hall on campus. This diverse population is made up of general population students, men’s athletes, basketball players, and cheerleaders. This vibrant community of men is lead by one Resident Director and five Resident Assistants.
Claridge is home to 80 female residents. Comprised of mostly Varsity Women's athletics, this community is not limited to these athletes. This hall has one main lobby and 2 large study rooms. Claridge is located directly across from Rogers Student Center. This community of women is lead by one Resident Director and three Resident Assistants.
Holley is home to 50 male residents, and has ADA rooms for persons who are visually and/or hearing impaired. It has a courtyard that is used for programming, and is centrally located on the main campus next to Rogers Student Center. This community hosts the nationally award winning men’s golf and tennis teams, and is also home to a diverse general population. This vibrant community of men is lead by one Resident Director and two Resident Assistants.
Hudnall is home to 90 female residents and has ADA rooms for persons who are visually and/or hearing impaired, and for students whose disability requires a wheelchair. Hudnall is our only hall totally dedicated to freshman residents. Programming is specifically designed to help residents make the adjustment from home life into college. Hudnall is also the home to the world famous Apache Belles, award winning cheerleaders, and women’s athletic trainers. This community of women is lead by one Resident Director and three Resident Assistants.
Lewis is home to 40 male residents and accommodate has rooms to persons who are hearing impaired. This hall has a vibrant population that includes the men’s athletic trainers. Lewis hall has a courtyard that is used for programming and is located directly behind Rogers Student Center. This vibrant community of men is lead by one Resident Director and two Resident Assistants.
Sledge Hall is home to the Varsity Apache Football Team. Assignment to this hall is coordinated by the football coaching staff through the Residential Life office. Sledge is located across from Rogers Student Center and has a courtyard that is used for programming. This vibrant community of men is lead by one Resident Director and two Resident Assistants.
Vaughn is home to 40 female residents and is centrally located on the main campus across from Vaughn Library. This diverse population has a courtyard that is used for programming and is a short walk to all academic buildings. This vibrant community of women is lead by one Resident Director and two Resident Assistants.
West Hall houses 44 females. All rooms are suite-style baths. There are two Resident Assistants and one Resident Director in the building there for the residents to try and help out with the transition to college. For security and safety insurance the hall is equipped with cameras that provide a live video feed to Campus Safety 24 hours a day. West hall has built in dressers that were just recently refurbished. The lobby is warm and inviting, equipped with a drink machines and microwave for the resident’s convenience.
