The Medical Transcription courses (MRMT 1307 and MRMT 2333) include 2 hours of lecture and 2 hours of lab time each week on campus, usually Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am-11:50am. (Dates and times are subject to change before each semester begins). The Medical Transcription Practicum (MRMT 1267) includes 16 hours a week (2-8 hour days) of actual transcription practice on campus, usually on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am-3:30pm. (Dates and times are subject to change before each semester begins). All other courses can be taken on campuss, online, or transferred in from another college or university. Both the labs and practicum use the Beginning and Advanced SUM Transcription System.
