Traveling to TJC from the North

On U.S. 271 coming from Mt. Pleasant, Pittsburg, Gilmer, Gladewater:

• Driving south, pass under Interstate 20. 
• After about 4 miles you will pass a traffic signal and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. 
• Continue on Hwy 271 for several miles.  You will go through an intersection of  Loop 323.  At this time U.S. 271 is also Gentry Parkway. 
• Continue on Gentry Parkway until you pass a Super-One Foods on your left.  Just beyond this there is a fork in the road. 
• Stay to the left and you will then be on Beckham Avenue. 
• Continue for a few miles on Beckham. You will pass Front St., Houston St., and two hospitals. 
• When you reach Lake St. prepare to turn left at the next light. 
• Turn left onto Fifth Street. 
• Pass through one traffic light (Fleishel)
• Turn left at the second intersection after the light, South Baxter. 
• The first building on your right is White Administrative Services Center, where you will find the Admissions and Financial Aid offices. 
• Institutional Effectiveness, Planning and Research offices are on your left a bit further down, 1305 Baxter.

On U.S. 69 coming from Mineola, Lindale:

• About 6 miles south of Interstate 20 you will reach Loop 323. 
• Turn left/east onto Loop 323 and continue for about five miles. 
• Turn right onto Gentry Parkway/U.S. 271.  
• Continue on Gentry Parkway until you pass a Super-One Foods on your left.  Just beyond this there is a fork in the road. 
• Stay to the left and you will then be on Beckham Avenue. 
• Continue for a few miles on Beckham. You will pass Front St., Houston St., and two hospitals. 
• When you reach Lake St. prepare to turn left at the next light.
