Traveling to TJC from the East

On Interstate 20 coming from Shreveport, Marshall, Longview:

• Exit I-20 at U.S. 271 (Exit 571) and turn left/south onto 271. 
• After about 4 miles you will pass a traffic signal and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. 
• Continue on Hwy 271 for several miles.  You will go through an intersection of  Loop 323.  At this time U.S. 271 is also Gentry Parkway. 
• Continue on Gentry Parkway until you pass a Super-One Foods on your left.  Just beyond this there is a fork in the road. 
• Stay to the left and you will then be on Beckham Avenue. 
• Continue for a few miles on Beckham. You will pass Front St., Houston St., and two hospitals. 
• When you reach Lake St. prepare to turn left at the next light. 
• Turn left onto Fifth Street. 
• Pass through one traffic light (Fleishel).
• Turn left at the second intersection after the light, South Baxter. 
• The first building on your right is White Administrative Services Center, where you will find the Admissions and Financial Aid offices. 
• Institutional Effectiveness, Planning and Research offices are on your left a bit further down, 1305 Baxter.

On Hwy. 64 coming from Henderson:

• Follow U.S. 64 (also Fifth St.) into Tyler. 
• Cross Loop 323 and continue on Fifth St. about 1.5 miles.
• You will pass TJC’s Pat Hartley Soccer Field on your right, and continue past Palmer St. and Mahon St. and the long front lawn in front of TJC. 
• Turn right at the next street, which is Baxter. 
• The first building on your right is White Administrative Services Center, where you will find the Admissions and Financial Aid offices. 
• Institutional Effectiveness, Planning and Research offices are on your left a bit further down, 1305 Baxter.

 On Hwy. 31 coming from Kilgore:

• When you reach Tyler, turn left onto Loop 323. 
• The first signal you pass is Old Henderson Highway. 
• At the next signal – U.S. Hwy 64/Fifth Street, turn right/west.  There is a CVS on the corner. 
• Follow Fifth St. about 1.5 miles. 
• You will pass TJC’s Pat Hartley Soccer Field on your right, and continue past Palmer St. and Mahon St. and the long front lawn in front of TJC. 
• Turn right at the next street, which is Baxter. 
• The first building on your right is White Administrative Services Center, where you will find the Admissions and Financial Aid offices.
