 Across the Wire - December Newsletter In publishing this monthly newsletter our goal is to provide valuable insight into IT related activities, and to highlight upcoming initiatives that will keep our college moving forward. New Team Member We are excited to have Sheriff Kora join the I.T. department as the new Programmer/Analyst within the Application Services Team. Sheriff comes to us from Texas College where he held the role of Database Administrator, some of you may recognize him as he worked on our Enterprise Resource Planning project assisting in the migration process as a contract programmer. Take time to welcome him to TJC as he will be a great addition to our dynamic organization. Bugs? Most people aren’t aware of how much damage can be done to their computer while surfing the web. Here’s a tip! If your computer demonstrates odd behavior or becomes unusually slow try running an anti-spyware utility such as SpyBot or Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware to clean your machine. For assistance in obtaining or running these programs contact the TJC Helpdesk at extension 2413. |
