Ornelas HPE/Rec Center - Fitness
Ornelas HPE Center is equipped with Nautilus and Nautilus Nitro machines in two weight rooms, Smith free weights, the cardio-respiratory room is equipped with Concept II Rowing Machines, Stairmaster Recumbent Bikes and Stairmaster 4000PT and 4400PT, Schwinn Airdyne Bikes, System 5 Bikes, Stairmaster Club Stride Ellipticals , 1/10 miles walk/run Pulastic track, dance studios, double basketball/volleyball gym, 7 racquetball/wallyball courts. Personal trainers and qualified staff that are happy to assist you with a workout program to suit your special needs.

100 Mile Points Club
Along the east corridor there are plaques mounted displaying those people that have earned a minimum of 100 points each year. To earn points one must keep a record of his/her walking, jogging, running and swimming activities. The black file box on the Front Desk contains those records. You are welcomed to keep your card in that box. Points are issued as:
- 1 point = 1 walk, jog, run mile
- 3 point = 1 swim mile
Mileage for each year begins on September 1 and ends on August 31. Some instructors give extra credit/consideration for accumulating a certain number of miles. You can make a difference in your fitness level. Go for the Apache Gold !
