High School Programs
Tyler Junior College offers high school students the perfect chance to get a head start on the future through both the Concurrent Enrollment program and our Early Admissions. - Dual Credit - students are offered the opportunity of earning both college credit and high school credit while still in high school. For more information, check out our Concurrent Enrollment page.
- Early Admissions - This program offers high school students the opportunity to take a TJC course on the TJC campus or a TJC distance education class. High school students are accepted during their senior year upon recommendation of their high school counselor or principal and with the permission of their parents. These students may take one or two courses each semester. Credit is applied when the student provides a high school transcript with the date of graduation. Students can earn both college and high school credit, get career advice and be ready for the demanding challenges that lie ahead in the transition to college. For more information, contact the Admissions office.
