Gifts of Cash

The simplest way to make a gift to Tyler Junior College is to write a check made payable to the "Tyler Junior College Foundation."

Your contribution may be designated for a specific program or it may be undesignated, available for meeting the College's highest priorities. If you wish your gift to be used in a certain way, be sure to indicate your preference both on the check and in a cover letter.

Gifts of cash may be deducted up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income in a given year. If gifts exceed this amount, you may carry forward the excess deduction on your income tax returns for up to five additional years.
