Sonography

The goal of this Program is to educate and develop skilled technologists in the field of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and to assist them in understanding the importance of their role on the allied health care team as they contribute to total patient care.  The total program consists of a plan to prepare the potential technologists in a sixteen month Associate in Applied Science degree.  A balanced curriculum of general didactic and practicum courses offers the student an opportunity for cultural development, as well as occupational competence. Clinical sites include major hospitals, affiliates and clinics. Practicum sites will be assigned by the program director and faculty.
