DESCRIPTION OF TOURS

Visit to Arena! Volcano National Park
The Arena! Volcano is considered one of the most active volcanoes in the world; it has been active since 1968 when it suddenly exploded, destroying all vegetation that covered the cone. Nowadays, trees and vegetation are starting to regenerate in some areas of the volcanoes base. Volcano hot springs are the result of rainwater heated by magma in the Earth's interior.

Once heated, the waters rise to surface, taking with them minerals found in the earth's rocky crust; this way, waters become very benefic to our bodies because of its temperature that helps to relax muscles, clean pores and rejuvenate the skin.

Visit to Monteverde Cloud Forest
We will visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, which is world famous for its cloud forest. The clients will enjoy the cloud forest climate and hike the trails among the varieties of plants and magnificent epiphytic laden trees. There have been over 450 bird species seen in the Monteverde area, some are native and others migrate through from North America once a year.

The resplendent quetzals with their long tails feed at various locations in the area and one can at times hear the "bong" of the bellbirds.
