| First Year Experience |
| Your First Year Experience at Tyler Junior College was created in April 2006 as an attempt to engage and acclimate incoming freshman students to their new student life environment. Though TJC is an educational institution, we want to expose the extra-curricular side of the college and remind students about the importance of becoming involved. Along with the many benefits that “Apache Student Life” has to offer, we want to provide as much vital information ( e.g. calendar of events, critical support services, involvement opportunities, organizations) as we possibly can to incoming freshman during their first year. Research has strongly indicated that the initial experience and the first months of a student's matriculation are pivotal to their overall success. Overall, we are committed to assisting you from orientation to graduation! |
