Computer Information Systems

Computer Science (University Transfer).  TJC offers the Computer Science field of study, a freshman and sophomore-level program guaranteed to transfer to a four-year computer science program at any public college or university in Texas.

Network Administrators install, configure and administer PC networks. They design and support server systems and supporting software. Network administrators evaluate and recommend changes to current and future network requirements to meet needs.

PC Support Specialists are dedicated to customer satisfaction on-site or in-house. They work on computer projects involving service, repair and installation and guide the use of products and services. PC support specialists must be knowledgeable in the identification, prioritization and resolution of computer issues.
