Available Testing - Quick THEA

Quick THEA is offered the first & third Friday of each month (September-May). Pre-registration is required. Quick THEA is offered every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. (May-Aug). Please call (903) 510-2617 for more information.

Quick THEA is also offered at the end of each semester - mainly to those students in Math 0303, English 0303 and/or Reading 0303. Information will be provided 4 weeks before testing or call (903) 510-2617 for more information.

When:

All examinees need to report 30 minutes before the scheduled test time.  NO examinees will be admitted late and testing fees will be forfeited. You will have 5 hours to complete the exam once actual testing begins.  You only need to take the portions of the exam you have not previously taken or passed.  You do not have to test on parts you have passed already (on THEA, Quick THEA or Accuplacer as THEA alternative.)

What: 

• You MUST have 2 forms of identification.  You MUST have at least one photo ID (driver's license, employee badge, passport, and yearbook).  The secondary ID can be anything with your name attached such as social security card, checkbook, paycheck stub, insurance card, library card.
  
  
• Two sharpened #2 pencils
  
  
• Light sweater or jacket
  
  
• $29.00 Testing fee for TJC students. (TJC students are encouraged to bring their TJC students ID or current course schedule.)
  
  
• $50.00 Testing fee for non-TJC students.
