Available Testing - Accuplacer

• You may NOT take the Accuplacer test unless you have an Application for Admission form on file at TJC.  The Admissions form must be completed in the Admission Office at the White Administrative Services building.  The scores are not accessible if the student is not in the TJC computer system.
  
  
• The Accuplacer test fee is $15.00 for TJC students and $30.00 for non-TJC students. TJC students are encouraged to bring their TJC student ID or current class schedule.
  
  
• You must present and surrender the $15.00 proof-of-payment receipt and present a photo ID to test on Accuplacer at the TJC Testing Center (Rogers Student Center, 2nd floor)!

Accuplacer TESTING
Testing done on a walk-in "first-come-first-served" basis in room 279 of the Rogers Student Center.

• What Is The Accuplacer Test and What Skills Are Tested?
  Accuplacer is a computer - adaptive test measuring skills in Reading, English Grammar, Essay, Writing and Mathematics.
  
  
• How Do I Register For The Accuplacer at TJC?
  Accuplacer test is administered on a walk-in basis.
  The fee is $15.00. Photo ID required to test (Driver's License, TJC ID, Passport)
  
  
• How Much Will It Cost Me?
  * Accuplacer testing fee is $15.00 for TJC students and $30.00 for non-TJC students. 
  * Accuplacer testing fee is to be paid at the Testing Center.
  
  
• How Long Does The Test Take To Complete?
  Expect to devote 3 - 4 hours to testing. 
  * The Accuplacer cannot be done in a partial format.  Therefore, it must be completed at a single sitting!
  
  
• What Do I Need To Bring With Me To Test?
  Photo identification and receipt of fee payment!  No study material or reference materials may be used during the exam.  The TJC Testing Center will provide calculator and scratch paper.  No other study aids will be allowed.
