Adult Student Services

If you are an adult or parent who is starting college for the first time or returning to college after an extended absence, Adult Student Services may be able to help you in a variety of ways.

The Perkins Data/Grant Coordinator in the Support Services office, Rogers Student Center, is available to guide you through the process of going back to school.

You may schedule an individual appointment by calling 903-510-2395, or attend an Adult Student Workshop available several times each year.

If you are an Associate of Applied Science-Vocational/Technical major, Carl D. Perkins Grant funds may be available to help eligible students pay for childcare, books, and/or transportation costs.

Personal and crisis counseling is also available in Support Services for single parents, displaced homemakers, and other returning adult students.

For other needs students may be referred to on-campus or off campus sources for help.
