International Admissions

The following is an explanation of the admissions process and document requirements of nonimmigrant international students. International students wishing to study here as a full time F-1 student must complete the following procedures for consideration for admission: - Fill out and sign an Application for Admission (PDF)
- Must submit Oath of Affirmation of Deponent (PDF) and the affidavit must be verified with a bank seal and submitted with an official bank statement stating person is an account holder and quantity in bank account.
NOTE: In the Affidavit of Support, the student must show that he/she or a sponsor has the available money of $14,504USD for two academic years. This amount is an estimate that includes the cost of living in Tyler for both years($10,000 USD for rent, food, clothing entertainment, etc) and the educational cost for two years ($4,504 USD). - Must have an official TOEFL score sent directly to the school. The Tyler Junior College code is 6833. The minimum scores are as follows: Computer-Based Test (CBT) score 197, Internet-Based Test (IBT) score 71, Paper-Based Test (PBT) score 525.
- Send official High School or College transcripts. Transcripts must be translated into English.
- Submit Immunization Form (PDF)
- Submit Copy of Passport, VISA (if applicable), Current I-20 (If applicable)
- Submit Statement of Understanding Form (PDF)
- Submit Permission to Release Information Form (PDF)
- Submit completed Transfer Release Form (PDF), if transferring from another institution in the U.S.
