ACE Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Overall grade point requirements:
3.0 Advanced Degree or 2.5 Bachelor’s Degree or 2.5 Overall - Official transcripts from every college or university attended (all foreign transcripts must be translated and evaluated for U.S. equivalencies, including a course-by-course analysis and G.P.A.) Transcripts are considered official when sealed and stamped with institution seal.
- Academic coursework in content area being pursued
- Basic Skills Assessment (one of the following):
- THEA scores (Reading 250, Math 250, Writing 220(6))
- SAT scores from a single sitting in the last five years must equal at least 1070 with at least 500 per section
- ACT scores from a single sitting in the last five years must equal 23 with at least 19 per section
- PACT scores (Click here for registration instructions)
- Three confidential reference letters
- Current résumé
- Applicant must pass a scored interview
- Must be able to meet program costs
- Must be able to work legally in the United States
- Bilingual certificate candidates must be proficient in Spanish
