Important Dance Dates

Dear Dancer,
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and are looking forward to the spring semester. Classes resume Jan. 11, 2010. All students will remain in the same level as the Fall 2009 semester. You can call the West Campus at 903- 510-2900 to register for classes starting Dec. 1. Register by Jan. 11 to ensure you receive a costume for Dancefest and to guarantee placement.

If you register for three classes a week you will receive an automatic $50 discount.
This semester we are also announcing a new Adult Tap class that will be on Tuesday’s from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. Another new addition to our program is a 3/4 Ballet class and parents can choose either Monday or Tuesday from 3:15 to 4 p.m.

This year’s Dancefest production will feature Act II of “Paquita” and “The Lion King.” Classes meeting two or three times weekly will have one piece in Dancefest. Participation is not mandatory, although we encourage all students to perform. Dancefest is scheduled for April 30 and May 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wise Auditorium.

A few important dates:

• Dancefestis scheduled for April 30 and May 1, 2010.

• Martin Luther King Day Jan. 18, 2010

• Spring Break March 8-12, 2010

• No classes April 26- 29, 2010 because of Dancefest rehearsals

• Observation week is May 24-27, 2010
